The largest published UK orbital fracture outcome series from a single specialist surgeon. 472 orbital floor and medial wall reconstructions over five years at the Royal London Hospital Major Trauma Centre. This paper provides the quantitative evidence surgeons need for consent discussions: what is the real risk of double vision after orbital repair, who is at risk, and what can be done about it? The answers compare very favourably with published international benchmarks.
